Information we collect

We collect your chosen nickname, an app identifier, and information about the Nights you join, including game responses, votes, results and recaps. We also process the photos and short voice clips you choose to share.

Our services may receive basic device and connection information, such as your IP address, to operate reliably. The app remembers preferences and your active Night on your device.

How we use information

We use this information to provide games, connect you with your group, display shared content, save Night history, respond to support requests and keep the service working.

Our website does not use advertising pixels or analytics scripts. It saves a session preference so the introductory animation does not repeat unnecessarily.

How information is shared

Your contributions are shared with the people in your Night. The host may access information needed to run the games. Hidden answers and voice effects are part of play and do not guarantee anonymity.

Public invitation pages do not show private Night content or participant details. Only share invite codes with people you want to invite. Other participants may make copies of content they see or hear.

We use service providers for hosting, storage and other essential app functions. They process information to deliver those services. For information about our app service provider’s practices, see Google’s Firebase privacy information.

Photos and microphone access

You choose which photos to share through your device’s photo picker. The app does not request access to your entire photo library. Original location and camera metadata are removed from selected photos before upload; information visible in the image remains visible.

Microphone access is requested for voice features, and recording starts when you choose to record. You can change microphone permission in your device settings. Changing a permission does not remove content already shared.

Keeping and deleting information

Night records and recaps are stored so you can revisit your history. Content does not automatically disappear simply because a Night ends or you uninstall the app.

You can use the available photo-removal control for your own uploads while you have access to the Night. This cannot remove copies made by other participants.

To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact support@nightmade.app. We may need information to identify your records and verify your request. Please do not include passwords, private photos or voice recordings in your email.

Privacy and security

We use access controls to limit private Night content to the relevant participants. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Share only content you are comfortable sharing with your group.

Invite codes can appear in page URLs, browser history and links you share. Keep them private. Promotional images on our website are fictional AI-generated images, not private Night photos.
